Had a very poor experience today. As background, I meticulously maintain my cars myself. Today, I visited this place for a simple annual state inspection. And the next thing I know, the mechanics have gotten into my glove box, spilling its contents, in order to get at (and to sell me a new) cabin air filter. When I told them that I came here for a state inspection, which does not call for any check of the cabin air filter (which I maintain myself anyway), and that I had not given them permission to enter my glove box, the mechanic turned foul-mouthed, rude and belligerent. Said it is their corporate policy to do all this, when a car comes in for a state inspection. Well, now I know that I should take my business elsewhere.
